I have always wanted to write about how good my daughter, Marielle, is but I just don't get the chance to do that. However, yesterday when I got home from work I realized how exceptionally good she is!! She is our first born and we totally have no idea of how kids are supposed to be this age. And so let me share with you our personal experiences with our beautiful baby. Marielle is so sweet and lambing!! She would always shower us with kisses out of nowhere and would tell us that she loves us! Yesterday, she told me "I love you so much, mommy!" It feels so warm inside. That simple line made me smile practically the whole day...well I guess I still have the hangover today. When she was younger and does silly things, we'd put her on time out. Now I don't even remember the last time we had her stand in the corner!! All we have to do whenever she gives us attitude is tell her that we're not happy with what she does...and she would stop doing that. At a very young age, I noticed that she already values what we think and feel. Seeing us smile and knowing that we are happy matter to her a lot. She always asks us if "Happy ka mommy? Happy ka daddy?" Don't get me wrong I don't want her to grow up with too much pressure just pleasing us...I still want her to be independent but with proper guidance of course :)
p.s.
Yesterday she pooped on the toilet for the first time!! She drank her milk from the glass and not the bottle!! I'm so happy for these milestones but at the same time I'm also a bit sad...she's growing up so fast!!
