When Nature Cries

I was in San Diego with my DH and DD along with our friends, the Obligacions, when I saw the devastating images of Metro Manila brought about by the destructive Typhoon Ondoy. I couldn't believe my eyes as I went through pictures of floating cars, people swimming for their lives, people desperately clinging onto whatever they can reach just to avoid going onto the current that was caused by the overflowing bodies of water! And it's all happening in Metro Manila. It is the place I was born at, I grew up in, fell in love, had my heart broken, learned, gained friends, it is my hometown. My heart bleeds for the families who lost everything they had, the families who lost their loved ones, the people who are still stranded in their homes up to now, with no food nor water to drink, to the children who got soaked in the rain and who tremble after their lives. May the Lord be with them at this devastating time.
